Web Design · Website Care

Your website is live. Who is looking after it?

Updates, backups, and contact-form checks should not be another job you have to remember. Our Website Care service gives small-business owners a defined plan for maintaining an existing website, with a clear point of contact when something needs attention.

What Website Care covers

The routine work your website still needs.

Standard hosting is included in every care plan. Hosting provides the online home for your website; care adds maintenance, checks, and support for the parts of your website named in your plan.

01

Updates and security checks

We manage appropriate software updates and routine security checks, then check the affected parts of your site. Before higher-risk updates, we use backups or a test copy when appropriate.

02

Backups and recovery preparation

We maintain backups and create or confirm a saved version of your site before higher-risk work. Checks of the recovery process follow your plan and the site's needs. Backups reduce risk; they cannot guarantee that every recent change can be recovered.

03

Website and contact-form checks

We monitor availability and check your domain, secure connection (SSL), and contact forms on the agreed schedule. These checks help identify problems that could keep customers from reaching your business.

04

Clear reports and defined support

You receive a plain-language monthly report on completed work, site health, and issues that need attention. Your plan also states the support included and the time available for small changes to existing pages, such as supplied text or image replacements.

A sound starting point

Care starts with a site we can responsibly support.

We care for Palomino-built websites and outside-built sites that we have inspected and accepted for care. The right plan depends on the site's platform, complexity, condition, and business importance—not simply its page count.

01

Already built by Palomino?

We review the site's current condition and the care it needs. The first 12 months of standard hosting included with a new Palomino build are not 12 months of Website Care.

02

Built by someone else?

We begin with a paid technical audit or migration assessment before accepting the site. You receive clear findings and a recommendation. Required repairs, cleanup, or migration are separately scoped and approved; they are not absorbed into the recurring care fee. Not every platform or setup will be a fit.

03

Know what is included before care begins

Your agreement names the parts of your website we will maintain, how often we check them, how quickly we acknowledge requests, the time for small content changes, and what is not included. Care starts after we have the required access and payment and the site is ready for the agreed work.

Know what to expect

Clear limits. No open-ended promises.

Website Care gives you ongoing technical help without confusing maintenance with a redesign, an SEO program, or unlimited support.

01

Support with stated hours

Website Care support is provided Monday–Saturday, 10 a.m.–6 p.m. Central. Closed Sunday. Automated monitoring is not 24/7 human response. A response target means acknowledgment and initial evaluation—not a guaranteed resolution time.

02

Separate work stays separate

New pages, redesigns, new functionality, ongoing SEO, and substantial copywriting are not included unless expressly agreed. Major cleanup or recovery may need a separate proposal. No plan guarantees uninterrupted service, complete security, or full recovery.

03

A defined commitment, not a lock on your website

Care begins with a six-month term, then continues month to month with 30 days' notice to cancel. You own your paid-for website and client-specific assets. When the account is current, we provide an orderly handoff; substantial migration work may be separately priced.
